On the 22nd of May, NB 851 for Hagland will be christened and launched at Scheepswervenweg 13, Foxhol at 11.00 hours. The yard will be closed for public.

Today Biofuel Powered vessel Sofia VG was delivered to her owners Meriaura. "Sofia VG is the first of the two ordered Ecotrader ships that are 105 meters long, 1A ice classed 6735 DWT vessels. The ships are designed to achieve the lowest possible emission levels. Like the EcoCoaster vessels Eeva VG and Mirva VG delivered in 2016 by Royal Bodewes, the Ecotraders can be operated with biofuel. Emission reductions are achieved not only through the use of renewable fuel but also through hull optimization and advanced engine technology provided by the Finnish company Wärtsilä Marine. MV Hagland Polaris, the 4th Hybrid Eco Trader 4850 dwat for Hagland Shipping has been delivered. She is currently on her maiden voyage to pick up the first cargoes.
